MyPUAJourney.com Rating: Fraudulent (Updated)

Rating: FRAUDULENT (Highly Suspicious)

We are posting this as a consumer warning about the guys over at MyPUAJourney.com. This is not a full expose, and thus won’t have an accompanying video, nor will it be as detailed or thorough as our previous entries. This is simply a warning to consumers.

Highly Suspicious

The men on our panel have each been in the pickup community for 3 years or more… and for those of us that teach pickup, the transition from “AFC” to “PUA” took AT LEAST a year.

How does this tie in with Jack Coxwell from MyPUAJourney.com?

Well, he has apparently made the transition from complete AFC to Master Pickup Artist – Charging for bootcamps the same price that any of the big companies do – in just a few short months.

The other curious thing about Jack Coxwell and MyPUAJourney is their connection to our first Expose. MyPUAJourney.com has teamed up with T (Of Fraudulent SeduceInSeconds.com Fame). He makes the spurious claim that T is “The highest authority when it comes to this art.” (Editor Note: Perhaps the highest authority on creating a company based on lying and deception to your customers. )

Let’s start here.

No PUA Here

This is their very first entry on their blog. It states they had just read the Mystery Method book and went out for the first time. He even goes so far as to say “Now don’t get me wrong, I’m NO WHERE NEAR being a Master Pickup Artist. Or even a PUA for that matter!”

Now, 6 months later… MyPUAJourney.com is selling bootcamps for $2500… Just slightly under the price for well established pickup bootcamps from companies and instructors that have been masters of this stuff for years and years.

While the Infield Video on their site appears to be genuine (though, none of it impressive), the conduct of Jack Coxwell and MyPUAJourney is highly suspicious due to the nature of his self-admitted inexperience.

Jack Coxwell (Or Adam according to the filename) or MyPUAJourney.com

Unfortunately, it’s another case of an unqualified and unskilled person attempting to take advantage of consumers that simply do not know any better. It appears that the site was created with the sole intention of making money (Also evidenced by the ad placement and affiliate links that have been up since the site’s inception).

One more interesting note. Jack Coxwell actively worked with T from SeduceInSeconds.com in order to try to expose the identities of the PUA’s on the PUA Watchdog Panel. (We don’t aggressively hide our identity, you can certainly find out exactly who we are if you know where to look.)

Is someone with a relationship this close to a KNOWN fraud and actively promoting a KNOWN fraud’s products and teachings… is that person/company trustworthy?

Well, one could argue that perhaps the owners of MyPUAJourney.com are naive in their inexperience, but unfortunately that can’t be said of guys who admit they suck at pickup and then start teaching bootcamps and accepting money.

PUA Watchdog Recommends:

Go with an established company with instructors that actually know what they are doing. You can’t become an instructor level mPUA in just a few months. That hasn’t stopped Jack Coxwell and MyPUAJourney from trying, but BUYER BEWARE!

Don’t take it from us though:

“Neither of us are Pickup Artists yet.” -Jack Coxwell from MyPUAJourney.com

UPDATE:

In an apparent bid to try to control the loss of credibility (which he most certainly deserves), Jack Coxwell has put his own spin on the story saying we took those quotes out of context. Not only did we not take them out of context, but it doesn’t even matter since the quotes were simply used to show that just a few months ago he considered himself to be a complete AFC.

Also, Jack Coxwell is trying to convince people that a member on our panel works for Venusian Arts. This is absolutely and completely 100% FALSE. Although one of our panel members was at one point an administrator on the VA Forum, that relationship ended completely long before PUA Watchdog was even an idea. (Beyond that, even though that relationship is severed, that panel member is no longer eligible to vote on posts regarding that company.)

Also, Jack Coxwell is now openly admitting that he is good friends with T from SeduceInSeconds.com. He even goes further by suggesting that this post stems from that (which is also untrue… anyone notice a pattern?). Perhaps they should consider selling a program on “How To Start A Pickup Company When You Don’t Have Any Actual Skill At Picking Up.”

Nice try, Jack! We’ll leave it to the consumers out there to decide if they want to spend money on someone who associates with known frauds, lies to try to gain credibility, and has an amazing 6 months experience learning pickup. Though, we’ll be happy to upgrade your rating now that you are spreading lies.
